Cloud Credits Terms
E credits are a unified accounting unit for eligible managed Cloud AI usage across EELML services.
E credits are service credits, not currency, stored value, cryptocurrency, a gift card, or a claim against EELML.
1. Two credit sources
- Included credits
- Granted with an eligible subscription, refresh each billing period, and expire at the end of that period without rollover unless the order states otherwise.
- Purchased top-ups
- Bought separately, added to the workspace or account balance, and expire twelve months after purchase unless checkout states another period.
2. Separate entitlement and quota
A credit balance does not grant access to a particular model. EELML separately controls workspace entitlement, approved models, task policy, safety restrictions, provider availability, region, and request quotas. Expensive Claude or OpenAI routes are disabled by default unless an administrator or EELML policy explicitly enables them.
A subscription, top-up, or positive balance must never be treated as automatic permission to use the most expensive available model.
3. Conversion and consumption
Different models and providers consume E credits at different rates based on input, output, caching, modality, provider price, and service overhead. The applicable rate or a reasonable estimate is displayed in the product, order, or usage information.
EELML may update conversion rates prospectively when provider costs change. A change does not rewrite completed usage ledger entries. The system consumes credits with the earliest expiry first where technically practical.
4. Exhaustion and routing
When available credits or quota are exhausted, managed cloud inference stops or the request may use an eligible local path when the user or workspace policy allows it. The system does not create an unapproved cash overage, silently switch to a more expensive route, or make the balance negative.
“Automatic” routing means automatic selection within the models, permissions, budget, and policies approved for the account; it does not mean unrestricted provider access.
5. Restrictions and adjustments
Credits are non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn, resold, exchanged for cash, or moved between unrelated accounts. Promotional and included credits have no refund value.
EELML may correct a demonstrable ledger error, reverse fraudulently obtained credits, or restore credits after a confirmed service failure. Material adjustments are recorded.
6. Termination
Included credits expire when the related paid period ends or is refunded. Purchased credits retain their stated expiry after cancellation but require an active eligible service and entitlement to be consumed. On account closure, remaining credits expire except where applicable law requires a different result.
