Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EELML receives in local, online, and hybrid modes, why it is processed, which providers may receive it, and how to exercise privacy rights.

Local inference and cloud inference have different data paths. Review the active model and service mode before sending sensitive content.

1. Scope and roles

EELML AI LLC is the controller of personal data used for its website, accounts, billing, support, security, and direct customer relationships. For enterprise Customer Content processed under an organization’s instructions, EELML may act as a processor or service provider and the organization remains the controller or business.

This policy covers EELML websites, EELML Studio, EELML Link, managed cloud inference, subscriptions, support, and related enterprise services.

2. Data paths: local, online, and hybrid

Local inference: supported prompts, files, conversation history, and workspace outputs are processed on the user-controlled device and are not sent to a cloud model unless the user selects or authorizes an online capability. Account sign-in, licensing, updates, downloads, and connected services can still use the network.

Online or hybrid inference: the prompt, selected context, attachments, tool schemas, and prior messages needed for the request may be sent to EELML infrastructure and an authorized model provider. The provider and region can depend on workspace policy, availability, and routing. Tool results return through the service so the active model can continue the task.

3. Categories of data

Account and contact
Name, business email, organization, role, authentication identifiers, language, and support communications.
Billing and transaction
Customer, subscription, invoice, tax, payment status, plan, seats, and order identifiers. Stripe processes full payment credentials; EELML does not store full card numbers.
Device and security
App version, operating system, device type, IP address, login events, error data, and security logs.
Usage and entitlement
Selected service mode, plan, model route, token or unit usage, E credit ledger, task source, timestamps, and service results.
Customer Content
Prompts, files, attachments, messages, tool inputs and outputs, and business data you choose to process through online or connected features.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide and secure accounts, subscriptions, local and cloud capabilities, support, and requested enterprise services.
  • Perform contracts, process payments, maintain usage and billing records, calculate taxes, and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with law, enforce terms, investigate incidents, and protect users and infrastructure.
  • Improve reliability and usability using telemetry or feedback configured for that purpose. EELML does not use Customer Content to train general-purpose models unless the customer expressly opts in.
  • Send product or marketing communications where permitted, with an unsubscribe mechanism.

5. Disclosure and subprocessors

We disclose data only as needed to provide the Services, follow your instructions, protect the Services, complete a transaction, or comply with law. Categories include cloud infrastructure and inference providers, payment and tax processors, security and delivery providers, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required.

Current providers and purposes are listed on the Subprocessors page. We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

Deletion requests are subject to security verification, legal holds, backup aging, and records we must retain. Where deletion is not possible or required, data may be isolated or de-identified.

Account and contact data
Retained while the account or customer relationship is active and afterward only as needed for support, security, disputes, or legal obligations.
Billing and tax records
Retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, anti-fraud, and financial recordkeeping laws.
Security and technical logs
Retained for the shortest period reasonably needed for security, reliability, incident response, and abuse prevention.
Cloud request content
Retained only for the configured service purpose, troubleshooting, safety, or contractual period. Provider retention can differ and is governed by the applicable enterprise/API arrangement.
Local content
Remains on the user-controlled device unless explicitly uploaded, synchronized, shared, or included in an online request.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, credential protection, tenant boundaries, logging, and incident response. No system is risk-free; customers should use least privilege, strong authentication, and avoid sending content that is not necessary for the task.

8. International transfers

EELML AI LLC is based in the United States, and providers may process data in the United States or other regions. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for international transfers. Enterprise customers may request a data processing addendum and information about available regional controls.

9. Your choices and rights

Submit a request to [email protected]. We may verify identity and authority before acting. You may also contact the applicable supervisory authority.

  • Access, correct, export, or delete eligible personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing and withdraw consent where consent is the basis.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • For California residents, request to know, delete, or correct covered data; opt out of sale or sharing; limit covered sensitive-data uses; and receive non-discriminatory treatment. EELML states that it does not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • For individuals in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, exercise applicable access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint rights.

10. Cookies, children, and changes

EELML uses essential storage and cookies for authentication, security, language, and requested functionality. If optional analytics or advertising technology is introduced, the appropriate notice and consent controls will be provided.

The Services are intended for business and professional users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Material policy changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, notified through the account or email.
